I just watched this documentary on the UNICEF website and I had to share it with everyone. It helped me remember that I am quite fortunate. So often we forget that life has been good to us and that there are so many children facing so many atrocities and dangers. Forcing children to become adults is a horrible crime, also makes me realize that teaching can change the lives of so many children.

The one person I miss most in Bombay is Socrates! :( I hope he can survive for the few days that I'm away. I wanted to put him in a comfortable box and bring him down to Goa but Mom just wouldn't hear of it! :(

Today was long and interesting. We were in Dadar, Lower Parel and Bandra (3 suburbs) in a span of six hours or so. It's Eid and Ganesh season together, so Mumbai is chaotic.In Dadar we saw this group of camera friendly men pulling the giant idol of Lord Ganesh, while blocking traffic, they chant "Ganpati Bappa morya pudhyacha varshi lavkar ya!" which mean O! Lord Ganesha, come quicker next year!
